What terrain do they operate on?
These animals are multi-terrain capable and are specifically designed with outdoor use in mind. As long as the area they’re operating in isn’t too thick/deep, FOAK can be used on grass, gravel, dirt, hills, etc… (They’re not “all-terrain” but they are definitely “multi-terrain”!). They can easily and safely operate indoors, as well.
Do they leave black streaks?
All our animal karts use non-marking, rubber, multi-terrain tires that are filled so that they never go flat!
How fast are they really?
Did you know a giraffe can run 37 mph?! But ours aren’t quite that quick.
They can travel up to 4.25 mph or 8 mph (again, depending on which model) which is pretty fast when you’re riding a sloth down the sidewalk)! Their top speed can be both manually and/or electronically governed, based on the rider and/or the venue.
Based on the operation we set them to a safe speed for the situation.
Are they just for kids?
Oh NO! All ages enjoy FOAK by Rydables!
These is a very unique product in that they truly have universal appeal. And, while they are great for kids, more than half of our riders and racers are over 18! (Imagine a bachelor/bachelorette party, Seniors Gone Wild nights at 55+ communities, corporate event, etc.) They’re a big hit for all ages.
What are the weight limits?
Remember, these aren’t the little things you see in a mall. They aren’t just for kids! More adults ride them actually!
They hold up to 325 and 400 lbs, depending on which of 2 models there are to choose from.
Are there age limitations?
They’re simple enough to operate that we have riders as young as 3 years old that can handle FOAK on their own. (It’s an “ability thing” as opposed to an “age thing”!). However, we do recommend novice riders under the age of 5 have an adult with them for safety.
Is FOAK affordable?
FOAK are more affordable than most think. With rates for individual hourly rental, all the way up to a herd of animals, we can get you what you need for hours of entertainment with a simple email or phone call!
Are they safe?
First and foremost, FOAK are SAFE!! In fact, they classify as ADA compliant.
Safety features:
All carts feature electromagnetic braking that automatically engages when the throttle is released (squeeze to go, let go to stop…simple).
All carts have an anti-roll, hill-lock feature to prevent unwanted rolling when stopped on an incline or hill.
All carts are 2-wheel drive with the suspension incorporated at all 4 wheels.
Their top speed can be both manually and/or electronically governed, based on the rider and/or the venue.
